The myths and lore that I had been taught as a child have become my reality as I can now see the true faces of my neighbors that had always been hidden safely behind magic. The bizarre disturbance also unlocked something dangerous, something that wants my family dead, something evil that is spreading its tentacles around the globe, pushing the world into war.

Phaynie Wallace lives her life in flip flops in the sunshine state of Florida. She takes inspiration from the sandy shores and blue-green waters. Since she was a little girl, she has had a very active imagination, creating stories in her mind’s eye with magic and murder.

By day, Phaynie is a NAVY veteran who now teaches elementary school. By night, Phaynie lets her imagination fill the pages as she writes stories about her latest character, Tolliver Toba.
Tolliver Toba’s life changes drastically in a bizarre eclipse. Everything that she thought she knew about her life was a lie. Tolliver, an amateur sleuth chases the lies and villains of her small island. With the help of her cousin, Elbie, they dive into a world of mystery, fantasy, and
historical fiction.
